It is our priority to improve the way each charter school operates by properly planning expenditures, recording all fiscal transactions with a system that reduces mistakes, and following procedures with effectiveness and efficiency. We use a variety of tools to properly develop a well-designed management plan. We reconcile on a regular basis to help our fiscal management identify any discrepancies. Fiscal planning is done annually.

Federal Grant Writing
Acadia NorthStar has been preparing applications charter school federal funds for over ten years. In that time, we have worked with more than forty North Carolina charter schools to access all of the federal funds they are allotted annually as well as other funding opportunities available through the Department of Public Instruction. With Acadia NorthStar, the process of planning, budgeting, and managing these funds is more successful as a team effort. We prepare and submit the applications, complete the required reports, and provide guidance and consultation throughout the grant term.
Charter schools qualify for funds under Title II and IDEA. Depending on demographics, many also qualify for Title I funds. Good planning and management of these dollars can positively impact the school's budget rather than having adjunct programs. Working together throughout the school year can make these dollars count. That is why the services we offer have been so successful and our relationships continue year after year.
